Relay for Life 2011

This year our team was able to participate in Relay for Life, an event put on by the Canadian Cancer Society to raise awareness and provide support for those who are battling cancer, celebrate those who have survived and remember friends and loved ones who lost their fight against cancer.  We walked through the night in hopes of helping to find a cure for this terrible disease. It gave us the opportunity to fundraise and help toward the fight to make cancer history!

We took the time to honor all the precious memories shared with our friends and family and pay tribute to everyone who has dealt with cancer by making luminaries that were placed along the track. I can confidently say that we are all looking forward to Relay for Life 2012!

This year, the Lethbridge Relay was able to raise $284,000. All funds raised help the Canadian Cancer Society in achieving its mission:

“the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer”.

Thank you to everyone who helped organize this event, and who participated and helped our Destination Dentistry team in Lethbridge raise money for this incredible cause!
