Your New Patient Exam
Spend quality time with us and tell us your smile goals. We want to help.
Start of Appointment
We do our best to never double book appointments, which is why your two hour appointment with us is yours alone. When you come in for your new patient exam, our cozy office and caring team will put you at ease.
Meet Dr. Johnson
For the first hour of your appointment, you spend time with our dentist in Lethbridge, Dr. Ryan Johnson, and talk about your concerns regarding your dental health and overall health.
From there, Dr. Johnson will conduct a thorough comprehensive exam to determine the best course of treatment for your goals and dental needs. This includes photographic records of your teeth and bite, digital x-rays when required, a head and neck evaluation, and oral cancer screening.
Meet Your Hygienist
Once you’re done discussing your smile goals with Dr. Johnson, our hygienist will educate you and provide a thorough cleaning for your smile.
* Please note exams can vary from patient to patient.
When your bite is not correct, TMJ or TMD (temporomandibular disorder) develops. This can lead to painful symptoms, such as jaw locking, severe headaches, and much more. Dr. Johnson can help relieve your pain by using a mouthguard or splint while working with your physician.
Are you scared of the dentist? Sedation dentistry allows you to be extremely relaxed during general, cosmetic dentistry, or more extensive procedures. Our staff will monitor you closely and make sure you're comfortable throughout your visit.
This extensive treatment involves restoring your smile's function and beauty. First, we would restore your bite to its optimum function. Then, we would bring back your smile’s beauty with cosmetic dentistry, such as veneers, teeth whitening, or Invisalign.
Many people desire straighter teeth but are turned off by metal braces. Using clear aligners, Invisalign gives you a straight, healthy smile and lets you live your life. The clear aligners are removable, so you can eat, drink, brush, and floss normally.
